The World Congress of Polish Literature Translators has come to an end
Today marked the end of the 5th World Congress of Polish Literature Translators, an event honouring the efforts of those without whom Polish literature abroad would not exist. At yesterday's gala event, the Transatlantyk Award was received by three outstanding promoters of Polish literature abroad: Ewa Thompson, Tokimasa Sekiguchi, and this year's winner, Silvano De Fanti.

Professor Silvano De Fanti awarded with the 2022 Transatlantyk Award
The most prestigious distinction for an eminent ambassador of Polish literature abroad, granted by the Book Institute, was awarded this year to Professor Silvano De Fanti, an outstanding translator of Polish literature into Italian.
